HCLTech’s Nordic journey began in 2008. Since then a robust collaboration with our Nordic partners has helped us increase footprints in the region, including Finland. With more than 50 Nordic customers trusting HCLTech today for their business and IT transformation needs, HCLTech has stayed committed to creating lasting partnerships ever since.
Today, we have 36 Delivery Centers in Europe, including 12 Delivery Centers in the Nordics (2 in Norway and 1 in Finland) spearheading new-age research and technology.
Leveraging the local delivery center in Espoo, Finland, HCLTech is delivering transformational work to our Finland based customers and are creating strong and long-lasting vested partnerships that go beyond the contract.
Back in 2012, we helped Microsoft Mobile Oy, erstwhile Nokia, to transform fundamentally the entire IT infrastructure operations — thereby reducing costs by 50% and delivering a simpler, standards-based operational model. We also signed a large IT services contract with UPM in 2012 which was renewed in 2016.
These two engagements helped us to establish our presence in Finland and emerge as a strong alternative IT outsourcing partner in the region.

HCLTech is UPM’s IT services partner since 2012 and we continue to support the global operations of UPM with end-to-end IT infrastructure management - including data centre services, end user support, network and security IT services.
